Good morning, Dayton!

Here’s Your Daily Dose of Dayton
Did you know... the Miami Valley sits on top of glacially-carved limestone bedrock, which is why the region has some of the most fertile farmland in Ohio - the same glaciers that retreated roughly 12,000 years ago left behind the flat terrain that made Dayton's grid of streets so easy to build.

Inside Today’s Edition…

  • Free Thursday meals offered weekly at Weaver Street with no registration required for anyone

  • Wegerzyn Gardens MayFair celebrates 50 years with plants, discounts, and exclusive early access

  • Wright-Patt veterans reunite and Daybreak launches large youth homelessness mural project initiative

Angelina came home from a three day family trip to find sewage rising out of her basement into her shower and toilet. Four to five inches of it.

She called Advantage Plumbing Heating & Air. Dustin and Ramsey showed up, diagnosed the problem, snaked the drain and the foundation line, and walked her through everything they were doing step by step. She now requests those two technicians by name every time she calls.

That's who you're dealing with.

Right now Advantage is offering $89 drain clearing with a one year guarantee. Every job includes a free camera inspection of your pipes so you know exactly what you're dealing with. If they find something, you get an honest estimate. No pressure, no obligation.

A slow drain won't fix itself. The longer you wait, the worse it gets.

Your Weekly Dose of Home Advice
Before the first hot day hits, swap out your HVAC filter and give your AC unit a once-over. Check that the outdoor condenser is clear of debris, leaves, and anything that accumulated over winter. Turn the system on for a test run now so you're not discovering a problem on the hottest day of the year. If it hasn't been serviced in over a year, schedule a tune-up before the summer rush drives up wait times.
