Thick brush, tangled woods, and overgrown acres don’t just make your property look neglected—they limit how you can use your land. Trails disappear. Space gets wasted. And clearing it by hand feels impossible. That’s where Buckeye Land Services comes in.
We now provide high-power forestry mulching, the fastest and cleanest way to reclaim your land without damaging the soil. Our equipment pulverizes brush, vines, saplings, and undergrowth on the spot, turning it into nutrient-rich mulch that improves your soil while leaving your property clean, open, and instantly usable. No burning. No piles. No hauling. Just transformation.
Whether you’re carving out new trails, expanding your yard, prepping for a future build, or finally taking back acreage that’s been untouched for years, our team delivers professional, efficient clearing that dramatically improves visibility, access, and property value. The difference is night-and-day—and most projects are completed in a single day.

If you have a dog in Dayton, here’s an important heads-up:Ohio law requires all dogs over three months old to be licensed annually, and the deadline to register for 2026 is January 31. Licensing your dog not only keeps you in good standing with the law but also helps ensure your furry friend can be safely returned if they ever get lost. The process is simple, with renewal available from December 1 through January 31 at the Montgomery County Auditor’s office or online. This is a friendly reminder for all dog owners to take care of this important step for the well-being of our beloved pets and the safety of our neighborhoods.
The Ohio House Bill 519 recently passed the state House with unanimous support. It aims to make it illegal, in many cases — to possess specialized electronic tools used by thieves to hack into modern keyless-entry and push-start vehicles. That means for Dayton drivers and our neighborhoods, there’s hope of fewer car thefts and break-ins as law enforcement gets stronger tools to prosecute people misusing these devices. By targeting these devices, the law aims to protect everyday drivers, helping neighbors feel safer leaving their cars on the street or in their driveways.

WEATHER WATCH

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
The Dayton Flyers women edged Kansas Jayhawks 59–58 in a heart-stopping finish at the Fort Myers Tip-Off. Nayo Lear was huge early: pouring in 10 straight points in the first quarter and finishing with a team-high 16. Ajok Madol added 9 points and pulled down 7 rebounds, while the Flyers dominated the glass, outrebounding Kansas 46-23. Dayton also hit 14 of 18 free throws down the stretch, and after a tense final minute, with Kansas missing a last-second drive.
Next game: The Flyers return to action Wednesday, Dec. 5 at George Washington in the Atlantic 10 opener.
The Wright State Raiders are heading to their fifth NCAA Tournament appearance after a strong 21–10 season and a six-match win streak, setting up a first-round battle against the 24–6 Purdue Boilermakers at Holloway Gymnasium. Led by standout hitters Mya Ayro — the Horizon League Tournament MVP — along with Lauren Yacobucci, Reilly Zegunis, Katie Sowko, and defensive anchor Ella Gaona, the Raiders carry serious momentum into postseason play. For Dayton fans, this run is another proud moment as Wright State once again puts our community on the national volleyball stage.
