Thick brush, tangled woods, and overgrown acres don’t just make your property look neglected—they limit how you can use your land. Trails disappear. Space gets wasted. And clearing it by hand feels impossible. That’s where Buckeye Land Services comes in.
We now provide high-power forestry mulching, the fastest and cleanest way to reclaim your land without damaging the soil. Our equipment pulverizes brush, vines, saplings, and undergrowth on the spot, turning it into nutrient-rich mulch that improves your soil while leaving your property clean, open, and instantly usable. No burning. No piles. No hauling. Just transformation.
Whether you’re carving out new trails, expanding your yard, prepping for a future build, or finally taking back acreage that’s been untouched for years, our team delivers professional, efficient clearing that dramatically improves visibility, access, and property value. The difference is night-and-day—and most projects are completed in a single day.
Serving landowners across the Miami Valley, we bring the right equipment, the right technique, and the local expertise to make your land work for you again.

DAYTON DIGEST
🚨 Flood System Activated Across the Region
The Miami Conservancy District has activated its flood protection system as river levels increased following recent rainfall. That system includes Dayton’s dry dams and levees, which are designed to hold back water and reduce downstream flooding. Officials say the system is working as intended and continues to be closely monitored. It is a reminder of how critical this long-standing infrastructure is for protecting homes and businesses across the Miami Valley.
🏥 Wright State Expands Nursing Facilities
Wright State University announced plans to expand its nursing facilities to help meet growing workforce demands. The expansion will allow the university to educate and graduate more nursing students in high-demand healthcare fields. Leaders say the investment is focused on preparing students for in-demand careers while supporting regional hospitals and clinics. For Dayton-area families, that means a stronger healthcare pipeline close to home.
🚒 Washington Township Fire Dept. Introduces “Brave Bags”
The Washington Township Fire Department is now using “Brave Bags” to help firefighters better communicate with children during emergencies. The bags include comfort items and visual communication tools designed to reduce fear and improve understanding in stressful situations. Officials say the initiative strengthens trust between first responders and families. It is a small addition that can make a meaningful difference when moments matter most.

Dayton's Favorite Food Fest is Back — and Year 13 Might Be the Best One Yet

The Dayton Food Truck Rally is kicking off its 13th season in 2026, and organizer Brian Johnson says this year is shaping up to be the biggest one the city has ever seen. Seven free specialty food festivals are planned from May through early September, hosted at two beloved Dayton venues: (1) The Brightside at 905 E. Third Street and (2) Front Street Studios at 1001 E. Second Street. Fan favorites like Mac and Cheese Fest and Seafood Fest are returning, along with the 2nd annual Great Dayton Food Truck Rally, which is expected to bring nearly 40 vendors together under one roof. The season kicks off May 1 with the ArtEBration Food Truck Rally at Front Street, where over 100 artist studios will be open alongside the food trucks, making it a true celebration of everything Dayton creates. Johnson, who has been growing this community staple for over a decade, says one of his greatest joys is watching food truck vendors he has supported go on to open their own brick-and-mortar restaurants right here in the Miami Valley.
